PayRemit started in 2017 as a shopping site on Facebook where Filipino and Indian migrant workers could order appliances and gadgets to send to their families back home. 


These days, PayRemit has evolved into a well-stocked and curated mobile e-commerce app. With PayRemit, migrant workers can shop and pay in installments directly on the app or with help from one of PayRemit's Sales Agents available across 22 countries.


After years of serving migrant workers and their families, the company has decided to expand its operations and make PayRemit available in-country. Through this expansion, PayRemit enables customers to shop for mobile phones and gadgets where they are and pay in easy monthly installments through our Buy Now Pay Later scheme.


PayRemit is owned by Payremit Electronics Trading LLC and maintained by Ventaja International Corp.

Vincent Paul D. Grey


Vincent studied and worked in Asia, North America and Europe prior to becoming an entrepreneur.  He returned to the Philippines in 1994, held various positions in the telecom industry from 1995-1998, then set-up the Advantage Group in 1998.

Always a step ahead, Vincent grew the Advantage Group from a distributor of physical prepaid cards to the fintech powerhouse that it is today.  Under his leadership, the Group achieved significant milestones--from partnering with top Philippine banks and remittance centers across the world to becoming the government’s largest collecting partner overseas--garnering several awards along the way.  

Vincent started Payremit in 2015--which has evolved into a shopping platform for migrant workers.  In 2019, he expanded Payremit to Indian migrant workers and established a lending company so customers could purchase items on intstallments

Vincent has held several leadership roles in EO’s Philippine chapter (Entrepreneur’s Organization).  A captain of the track & field team in college, Vincent stays fit with tennis, boxing, yoga and the gym.  He spends most of his leisure time with his wife and four children.

Anthony Angodung

Sales Director

Anton joined Ventaja International Corp. in 2015 and currently leads a team of sales and account managers based in the Philippines, India, UAE, and Italy.  In 4 years, Anton more than doubled the volume of payments to the Philippine government and established Ventaja’s position as the government’s leading overseas collection partner.   

Now based in Dubai, Anton continues to expand Ventaja’s network of remittance and collection partners across the world.  With his experience in multi-level marketing, Anton is recruiting agents to promote Payremit among Filipino and Indian migrant workers; and growing the customer base.  

When he isn’t working, Anton plays basketball, his favorite sport, and spends time with the family.

Libby Chua

General Manager, PayRemit Philippines

Libby joined Payremit in 2019 after 12 years of starting-up companies for a multinational group.  Her start-up experience cut across several industries, but was mostly in e-commerce and IT.   

Libby oversaw the transformation of Payremit Shop from a Facebook page to full-fledged e-commerce app.  She also built the organization required to support the business--from suppliers to customer service to a CRM platform.  She also handled all marketing and communications for Payremit directly.  

Libby enjoys cooking for her family.  For exercise, she swims.  For fun, she visits the shooting range with her personal collection of firearms.

Merchant and Purchasing Manager

As the Merchant and Purchasing Manager of PayRemit, Alette executes cost-effective purchasing strategies to ensure the best quality products at the best prices are available to the consumers.


A former migrant worker herself, Alette fits the mold as she understands the demands of the market and works with PayRemit to empower and uplift the lives of migrant workers.


In her free time, Alette watches inspirational and tutorial vlogs for additional learning. She’s also picked up interest and is training in cycling.

Sarah Miranda

Credit and Collections Manager

Sarah joined PayRemit after working with one of the biggest lending companies in the Philippines. She brings with her years of experience working in the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Industry, where she became skilled in Customer service, Insurance, and Financial services for the US, UK, and Australian market. 


As the Credit and Collection Manager for PayRemit, Sarah oversees the cash flow systems and identifies opportunities to minimize excessive loss and resolve credit disputes. Her team also determines customer's eligibility for credit options by analyzing documents and financial status and is responsible for the correct invoicing of clients and the timely receiving of payment. She also observes and reviews staff members' interactions with clients to ensure that collections are according to company policies and regulations.


Sarah enjoys watching movies and series in her free time. For exercise, she enjoys dancing and cleaning the house. For fun, she plays with her children.

PR & Marketing Director

Tracy joins PayRemit with 12 years of experience in Public Relations and Marketing. She has worked in various industries, including logistics, transportation, TV Production, and advertising. 

Tracy is in charge of building brand awareness and executing marketing strategies for PayRemit in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. She has helped launch PayRemit to Philippine media and streamline external communications across all company social platforms. She works to establish and maintain relationships with media partners and other Filipino organizations around the world.


In her free time, Tracy enjoys long drives, trips outside the city, and hosts events.
